Celebrating the Establishment of the First University Departments−Keio Delegation Visits Harvard University

Celebrating the 125th year since the founding of the first university departments at Keio University, a delegation of Keio faculty and staff members paid a visit to Harvard University in March, 2015. A video about Keio's history with Harvard was also produced as a souvenir of this visit.

Keio University Research Collaboration Promotion Fair 2015

The Keio University Research Collaboration Promotion Fair was held to showcase how Keio is advancing interdisciplinary research through international collaboration. Find out more about the latest collaborative research conducted with CNRS (the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique) and the National University of Singapore.

The Keio East Asia Future Leaders Program (KFLP)

After the success of the Three-Campus Comparative East Asian Studies Program, this new short program was launched for students from select universities from around the world for an intensive fortnight of lectures and cross-cultural learning at Keio. Keio Global talked to two faculty members involved in the program, and three participating students shared their thoughts and experiences.

Recent News

International President's Forum "Science to Strengthen a Super-Mature Society"

Representatives from the University of Tokyo, Oxford University, École Centrale de Nantes, the National University of Singapore, and the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts came together at Keio University to discuss how research institutions can contribute to sustainable development in the face of a super-mature society.

Release of the Keio Research Highlights Website and the Nature Reprint Collection

The Keio Research Highlights website will provide regular updates on the most important research undertaken and the latest developments at Keio through accessible and informative articles.
The Nature Reprint Collection published by Nature Publishing Group introduces more than 20 papers by Keio researchers published in Nature journals over the past decade.
