Keio University is a comprehensive academic enterprise with six major campuses in Japan, along with a number of affiliated academic institutions on or near these campuses. In addition, Keio University also operates several Town Campuses and a high school in New York.

A Collaborative Space between Keio and Kawasaki for Advanced Education and Research

This research facility, located between Tokyo and Yokohama in the city of Kawasaki, was founded in 2000 to focus on industrial, governmental and academic approaches to Japan's industrial renewal in the 21st century. Jointly operated by Keio University and the city of Kawasaki, the institution is engaged in numerous research projects which relate to the daily lives of the citizens of Kawasaki.

Innovation Campus in an Internationally Strategic Location

Keio University opened its Tonomachi Town Campus in April 2016 at Kawasaki King Skyfront, an innovation hub in Kawasaki that connects corporate and academic partners throughout science and industry. Tonomoachi Town Campus will serve as a core facility to promote innovative transdisciplinary research in the Keio Longevity Initiative as well as the wellbeing research under initiatives by the Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST).

A Regional Collaborative Campus in Bioscience Research

This institution is jointly operated by Keio University, Yamagata Prefecture, and a total of fourteen towns and villages in the prefecture, including the city of Tsuruoka on the Sea of Japan coast.
The main facility has been constructed on the site of the ancient castle of Tsuruoka, with other facilities located in the Tsuruoka City Science Park and in Tsuruoka Park. It is home to the Institute for Advanced Biosciences, Keio University, an academic research institute pioneering the new life science field of Systems Biology using both experimental and computational biology.

A Medicinal Plant Garden in a Green Environment

Urawa-Kyoritsu Campus is endowed with lush, spacious grounds year round, and students have convenient access to the nearby and surrounding parklands. This campus boasts athletic grounds, a swimming pool, and tennis courts as well as a superb medicinal plant garden.

Keio’s Kansai Connection: Open to Everyone

Situated in central Osaka at research complex Knowledge Capital within Grand Front Osaka, Keio Osaka City Campus (KOCC) is a satellite campus used for holding various seminars and lectures. It was opened in May 2013, following the complete relocation of Keio Osaka Riverside Campus. This previous campus was established in 2008 at Dojima River Forum in Osaka's Fukushima Ward, close to the birthplace of Keio University founder Yukichi Fukuzawa and Tekijuku, the school of Dutch studies where he studied in his youth. In the early years of Keio's history, in November 1873, a branch school of Keio was established in Osaka, but this was closed two years later, in June 1875.

Continuing Education for Working Adults

Established in April 2001 and conveniently located in Tokyo’s central Marunouchi district, Marunouchi City Campus is an educational institution that holds business seminars and lectures for working adults.

Keio University has a long tradition of comprehensive primary and secondary education. Keio's affiliated elementary, junior, and senior high schools have been part of Keio operations for more than half a century. Students are encouraged to take initiative in all aspects of school life and are offered a multitude of opportunities to discover and realize their individual potential. While all of Keio's affiliated schools share the same overall educational philosophy, each possesses a unique personality and its own set of policies, which set the course for fostering both diversity and competence among the students.
