Keio University is making efforts to enhance its student dormitories to more actively support and encourage the admission and lifestyles of students from overseas.

Shimoda Student Village

Opened in 2006. This is a student dormitory in the Shimoda area near Hiyoshi Campus housing around 200 students from the Athletic Association and 150 international students. There are separate blocks for students from the Athletic Association and international students.
Shimoda Student Village also serves as a platform for interactions with the local residents.

13-minute walk from Hiyoshi Station on the Tokyu Toyoko Line, Tokyu Meguro Line, and Yokohama Municipal Subway Green Line

Plume IS

This is a one-room type dormitory within walking distance of Yagami and Hiyoshi campuses for the exclusive use of international students with a kitchen, bath, and toilet in every room. It is also possible to use the Yokosuka Line at Shin-Kawasaki Station.

Location: 12-28 Yagami, Saiwai-ku, Kawasaki-shi, Kanagawa
16-minute walk from Shin-Kawasaki Station on the Yokosuka Line, 20-minute walk from Hiyoshi Station on the Toyoko Line.

Omori Student Dormitory

Opened in 2009. This is a mixed dormitory located in Ota Ward, Tokyo, with morning and evening meals provided, and an easy commute to both Hiyoshi and Mita campuses.

Location: 7-4-27 Omori-nishi, Ota-ku, Tokyo
15-minute walk from Kamata Station on the JR Keihin Tohoku Line, 12-minute walk from Umeyashiki Station on the Keikyu Main Line

Tsunashima Student Dormitory

Opened in 2012. Tsunashima is the nearest station and is a short ride from Hiyoshi Campus. A mixed dormitory with morning and evening meals provided.

Motosumiyoshi Residence

Opened in 2013. This is a one-room type mixed dormitory within walking distance of both Hiyoshi and Yagami campuses with kitchens, baths, and toilets equipped in every room.

10-minute walk from Moto-Sumiyoshi Station on the Tokyu Toyoko Line, 8-minute walk from Hiyoshi Station on the Tokyu Toyoko Line

Okurayama Dormitory

This is a dormitory for the exclusive use of international students of Keio University. Resident areas are private rooms, with the common areas (kitchens, dining area, public bath, music room, etc.) on the ground floor newly renovated in 2016.

Hiyoshi International Dormitory

Opened in 2017. This is an abundantly-equipped student dormitory with four persons housed per unit (two Japanese and two international students), with spaces for interaction including a communal kitchen and assembly room.

18-minute walk from Hiyoshi Station on the Tokyu Toyoko Line and Yokohama Municipal Subway Green Line, or around 6 minutes by local bus departing from in front of Hiyoshi Station

Motosumiyoshi International Dormitory

Opened in 2018. Moto-Sumiyoshi, the nearest station, is one stop from Hiyoshi Station. This is a mixed dormitory with morning and evening meals provided, and which can also be used for non-stop commuting to Mita.

Tsunashima SST International Dormitory

Opened in 2018. Opened within Tsunashima Sustainable Smart Town. This is a self-catering mixed dormitory constructed with consideration to the environment of the town as well as to safety and security.

Tsunashima Sustainable Smart Town

Shonan Fujisawa International Dormitory

Opened in 2021. This is the first dormitory for the exclusive use of Keio students at Shonan Fujisawa Campus. A mixed dormitory with morning and evening meals provided and plenty of space for students to interact with each other.

Location: 6701-1 Endo, Fujisawa, Kanagawa
First get off at Shonandai Station on the Odakyu Enoshima Line, Sotetsu Izumino Line, Yokohama Municipal Subway Blue Line then take the local bus bound for "Keio University" (慶応大学), an approximate 15-minute trip, from Shonandai Station West Exit

Takanawa International Dormitory

Opened in 2021. The first international dormitory for the exclusive use of female students at Keio University. This is a self-catering dormitory. Convenient for commuting as only one stop by train to access Mita Campus (also within approximately 23-minute walking distance).
