In recent years, Keio University has been redoubling its efforts to enhance its student dormitories to more actively encourage the admission, and support the lifestyles, of students from overseas.

*In addition to the dormitories listed above, there is also a men's dormitory called "Hiyoshi Kishukusha" which is operated by students and Keio University.

Shimoda Student Village

Opened in 2006, Shimoda Student Village is a student dormitory in the Shimoda area near Hiyoshi Campus housing around 200 students from the Athletic Association and 150 international students. There are separate blocks for students from the Athletic Association and international students. Shimoda Student Village is also a community hub that encourages encounters and interaction with local residents.

Plume IS

Plume IS is a single-room style dormitory within walking distance of both Yagami and Hiyoshi Campuses for the exclusive use of international students. Each room is self-contained with its own kitchen, bath, and toilet. The dormitory is accessible via both Hiyoshi Station as well as the Yokosuka Line at Shin-Kawasaki Station.

Omori Student Dormitory

Renovated in 2009, Omori Student Dormitory is a mixed dormitory located in Ota-ku, Tokyo, and is an easy commute to both Hiyoshi and Mita campuses. One feature of this dormitory is that morning and evening meals are provided.

Tsunashima Student Dormitory

Opened in 2012, Tsunashima Student Dormitory is close to Tsunashima Station, which is a short ride from Hiyoshi Campus. This is a mixed dormitory with morning and evening meals provided.

Motosumiyoshi Residence

Opened in 2013, Motosumiyoshi Residence is a single-room, co-ed dormitory within walking distance of both Hiyoshi and Yagami campuses. Each room is equipped with a kitchen, bath, and toilet.

Okurayama Dormitory

Okurayama Dormitory is a dormitory exclusively for international students at Keio University. Each resident has a private room, with the newly renovated (in 2016) first floor containing all the common areas (kitchens, dining area, communal bath, music room, etc.).

Hiyoshi International Dormitory

Opened in 2017, Hiyoshi International Dormitory is a fully-furnished student dormitory with each unit housing four residents — two Japanese and two international students. There are also communal spaces for interaction including a kitchen and assembly room.

Motosumiyoshi International Dormitory

Opened in 2018, Motosumiyoshi International Dormitory takes its name from Motosumiyoshi, the nearest station, which is only one stop from Hiyoshi Station. This is a co-ed dormitory with a communal dining room where morning and evening meals are provided. It is also particularly convenient for students who study at Mita Campus, as there is a direct train.

Tsunashima SST International Dormitory

Opened in 2018, Tsunashima SST International Dormitory is situated within Tsunashima Sustainable Smart Town. This is a self-catering mixed dormitory designed from the ground up with consideration to the living environment of Tsunashima Sustainable Smart Town, as well as to safety and security.

Tsunashima Sustainable Smart Town

Takanawa International Dormitory

Opened in 2021. The first international dormitory for the exclusive use of female students at Keio University. This is a self-catering dormitory. Convenient for commuting as only one stop by train to access Mita Campus (also within approximately 23-minute walking distance).

Shonan Fujisawa International Dormitory

Opened in 2021. This is the first dormitory for the exclusive use of Keio students at Shonan Fujisawa Campus. A mixed dormitory with morning and evening meals provided and plenty of space for students to interact with each other.

Take the Odakyu Enoshima Line, Sotetsu Izumino Line, or Yokohama Municipal Subway Blue Line and get off at Shonandai Station. From the West Exit, take the bus bound for "Keio University (慶応大学)" (about 15 minutes).

H Village

Opened in 2023, H Village is a student dormitory for Keio University students (including graduate students) and international students. Each unit houses a mix of five students – from different parts of the world and from all over Japan – where they can foster cross-cultural exchange and share diverse values as they live and study together. To meet student needs, the dormitory complex consists of a common building and four residential buildings – one for men, one for women, and two mixed buildings. This international student dormitory truly puts into practice the new lifestyle of "living while learning, and learning while living."
