Keio University's new university museum, "Keio Museum Commons (KeMCo)," will hold the Inaugural Event Series "Cross-scapes" from Monday, April 19, 2021.
KeMCo is a museum that will mutually tie together the university’s cultural artifacts and generate exchange between the people who are involved with these. This project introduces some of the exchanges facilitated by KeMCo through two exhibitions (April 19–June 18)—"Letter-scape," which traces the development of the culture of the written word from the ancient Tang period up to the modern day, and "Gathering-scape," which presents works selected from the collections of cultural artifacts held at Keio University on the theme of personal connections—and the international symposium "Book-scape" (May 29). In addition, various events and workshops are also planned over the duration of the event series.
