The Keio Short-Term Japanese Studies Program (KJSP) 2025 was held in February, bringing together 16 students from 7 countries and regions, and 15 local Keio students, for an intensive 2-week program that takes a deep-dive into Japan and Japanese culture.
This activity-packed program allows students to learn about Japan and its culture in English while building lasting friendships. The classes, led by Keio professors and outside guest lecturers, spanned a range of topics, from law, technology, health, traditional art, as well as hands-on workshops about tea ceremony and sushi.
There were also several off-campus activity days, where participants could further experience Japanese culture. The program wrapped up on the final day, with student group presentations that they had been working on over the previous two weeks.
