Career Consultation
The career services offices at the Mita, Yagami, Shonan Fujisawa, and Shiba-Kyoritsu campuses offer individual consultations covering all aspects of job hunting and career paths. Students are welcome to seek guidance on how to navigate the job search while also balancing other major commitments, including their academic studies, study abroad programs, and qualification exams.
Searching for a job can feel overwhelming, and it can be difficult to make sense of all the information available online. Our career support staff address the challenges and uncertainties students face regarding career choices and can provide advice tailored to the needs of each Keio student, based on extensive experience. For this reason, a great many students make use of the services provided by our offices each year.
Access to Diverse Career Resources
Our staff are in close contact with a wide array of recruiters and HR professionals to exchange information on a daily basis. Job openings and recruitment-related information received are carefully reviewed before being provided to students.
Students also have access to a searchable database of alumni contacts for career conversations, as well as firsthand reports from students who have successfully received job offers. Drawing on the strengths and reach of the Keio alumni community, these resources equip students with the practical insights they need to navigate the job search and make informed decisions about their future independently.
Career Events and Seminars
Career guidance sessions are held throughout the year across all of Keio’s campuses. Designed to reflect the distinctive strengths of each campus, these sessions go beyond surface-level job-search techniques and include introductions to the job-hunting process, career exploration, industry research, group discussion workshops organized in collaboration with companies, as well as seminars for students interested in becoming civil servants.
Keio University believes that a successful career stems from a rich student experience. We support each student in making a self-directed, well-considered choice to discover a career path that is right for them.
