Senior High School —Jukuko Students Climbing the Ginkgo Tree-Lined Hill—
Get off at Hiyoshi Station and walk up the straight, orderly avenue of ginkgo trees, and you will find Keio Senior High School standing quietly at the end. In spring, the newly sprouted young leaves sway gently in the sunlight. Amidst an atmosphere full of hope, the students quietly make their way along this path.
Located on a corner of the Keio University campus, this place, with its stately white school building set in an open space, is a special stage for learning for the Jukuko students. For them, the ginkgo tree-lined avenue is more than just a path to school. The gentle spring breeze, the deep green shade of summer, the golden falling leaves of autumn, and the clear winter air—the changing expressions of the four seasons gently speak to the heart of each person who walks this path.
The days spent walking this path are also a precious time for self-reflection, conversation with friends, and preparing one's mind for learning. This path, where the ginkgo trees greet you with a different expression each season, is imbued with the intellect and sensibility characteristic of Keio Senior High School.
