Keio University will confer an honorary doctoral degree to Professor David J. Teece of the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley, in recognition of his contributions to developments in corporate theory, strategic management theory, and business administration, and his achievements as the founder of dynamic capabilities theory, the latest theory in the field of strategic management.
The conferment ceremony for the honorary doctorate and the commemorative lecture symposium will be held on Tuesday, April 25.
