On Wednesday, August 30, a signing ceremony was held to conclude a cooperative agreement between Keio University and Kawasaki City regarding functional improvements to the Shin-Kawasaki Sozo no Mori, among other initiatives. From Keio University, the ceremony was attended by President Kohei Itoh and Vice-President Eiji Okada. Kawasaki City was represented by Mayor Norihiko Fukuda and Deputy Mayor Junichi Kato.
With the conclusion of this agreement, Keio University and Kawasaki City solidified plans to work together in expanding the functionalities of the Shin-Kawasaki Sozo no Mori (located within K-FRECS at Shin-Kawasaki), as well as Kawasaki City's ongoing project to establish their Quantum Innovation Park.
