Keio University hosted the "Experience Japan Exhibition (EJE) 2021 Online" study abroad fair on Saturday, November 20. This year marked the 11th rendition of the EJE and, continuing the format from last year, was held exclusively online. An all-time high of 26 universities from across Japan and 5 other institutions took part, with high school and university students from over 60 countries, mainly from Asia and Europe, attending.
On the day of the event, each university and institution held sessions, such as briefings on study abroad programs and group consultations with attendees at their virtual booths. A total of over 2,080 attendees participated in the provided programming, indicating that interest in studying abroad in Japan remains high despite the pandemic. Seminars introducing the basics of studying in Japan, actual experiences from former study abroad students to Japan, research grants, scholarship information, and finding work in Japan were held throughout the event as well.
Videos of the sessions and seminars from the EJE will be released at a later date (some portions for a limited time).
