Volunteer students from the Keio University School of Medicine and the All Keio Student Senate have collaborated to launch a dedicated site "An encouragement of countermeasures for coronavirus disease for Keio students" (Keio access only), introducing basic knowledge on COVID-19 for Keio students as well as methods to mitigate infections.
The "Guidelines for preventing infections for medical students", which form the basis for this site, were created by students of the Keio School of Medicine to review clinical training involving efforts to prevent the spread of infections, with reference to resources of the National Institute of Infectious Diseases and overseas studies, and have been audited by doctors specializing in infectious diseases (2nd edition published on May 22 as the "Guidelines for preventing infection for students in the healthcare domain").
The site now being shared was created in collaboration with volunteer students from the School of Medicine and the All Keio Student Senate, which is an autonomous student-run body that aims to improve services and benefit programs for Keio students, to widely introduce COVID-19 and related information of use to the general Keio student body. The site provides basic information relating to COVID-19 and general measures for preventing infection, and lists points on which to exercise vigilance on campus and during extracurricular activities.
