Extension to Period of Limited Access to Interior of Old University Library

The entrance hall of the Old University Library on Mita Campus, which underwent renovation work to preserve the building and strengthen it against earthquakes, was scheduled to be open to the public from July to October. However, this has now been extended until December (until restoration work on the interior commences).
・ Period: From September to December 2019; every first Wednesday and third Saturday of the month
・ Days open: September 21 (Sat.); October 2 (Wed.), 19 (Sat.); November 6 (Wed.), 16 (Sat.); December 4 (Wed.), 21 (Sat.)
・ Opening hours: 10:00 to 16:00
・ Areas open to visitors: From the front entrance to the first-floor hall and landing of the central stairwell
Many people have already visited the Old Library on the days it has been open, viewing also the stained glass above the landing of the central stairwell.
*The interior of the Old Library will also be open to visitors for the Architecture Open Day to be held on October 3 (Thurs.) and 5 (Sat.). Please visit the below page for details.
