Short-term Hosting of Student Groups on Study Trips from Overseas Universities
August 7, 2019
Keio University actively hosts student groups from partner and non-partner institutions on study trips to Japan.
From May to July, Keio hosted student groups from the University of Hong Kong in China; Erasmus University Rotterdam in the Netherlands; and Latin American universities, including the University of São Paulo in Brazil.
Arrangements are made well in advance, so that each group’s visit includes a campus tour guided by Keio students and the chance to attend actual lectures by Keio faculty members. These are lively affairs, and both the visiting students and their Keio counterparts benefit greatly from the mutual and animated exchange of opinions on various topics.
Keio welcomes such visits as they are valuable learning opportunities not only for the visiting international students but for Keio students as well.
