Keio University’s proposal has been selected for the AY2019 Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) Inter-University Exchange Project.
This is a project to support initiatives for international educational ties with universities in Asia, Europe, the United States, and elsewhere, which strategically host Japanese study abroad students and other students from overseas to safeguard the quality of higher education. It aims to foster global personnel capable of playing a role on the international stage and enhancing university education’s capacities for global expansion, and kicked off in 2011 at MEXT.
This year three proposals, including Keio’s, were selected from the 10 applications received in the current academic year, with projects aiming to implement exchange programs to safeguard quality between universities in the EU and elsewhere being eligible.
