The British Swimming team held a training camp at Keio’s Hiyoshi Campus from November 3 to 8. The athletes were in Japan for the FINA Swimming World Cup 2018 in Tokyo on November 9-11, and the training camp was used as their final preparation. Among the British Swimming athletes who trained at Hiyoshi Campus were Rio 2016 Olympic silver medallists James Guy and Siobhan-Marie O’Conner.
During British Swimming’s stay, students from three of Keio’s affiliated schools attended an open practice and took photos with the athletes, while the Keio University Swimming Team and the Keio University Science and Technology Swim Team participated in a joint training session with British Swimming Coach David McNulty.
