On Tuesday, July 3, the CEMS Corporate Partner Gathering and CEMS Reception, Spring 2018, were held at Mita Campus.
CEMS is an alliance comprised of world-leading higher education institutions in business, in association with multinational companies and NGOs. CEMS offers a double degree programme, the CEMS MIM (CEMS Master’s in International Management). Students who complete this programme are awarded a master’s degree both from their home institution and from CEMS.
Only one institution from participant countries is eligible to join CEMS, with Keio University representing Japan. At Keio University, students of the Graduate School of Economics, the Graduate School of Business and Commerce, and the Graduate School of Media Design are eligible to apply to participate in the CEMS MIM Programme.
Since Keio formally joined CEMS in 2010, many students have passed though the Keio CEMS MIM Programme, with students from CEMS partner schools welcomed every semester. Last year saw the milestone of our 10th Keio CEMS graduate.
Representatives from Keio CEMS Corporate Partners and the nine CEMS Corporate Partners with their offices in Tokyo gathered at the Banraisha on Mita campus, to mutually discuss the potential for future collaboration between Corporate Partners and Keio. This was followed by the CEMS Reception, Spring 2018, at the Faculty Club, at which CEMS representatives were joined by Keio CEMS faculty and staff members, incoming and current Keio students, and CEMS alumni, to facilitate enhancement of the network among the respective stakeholders.
