On Saturday, June 24 and Saturday, July 1, “Open Campus: Introduction to the University” was held.
The purpose of this event was to answer questions from high school students, prospective students, and guardians, such as what kind of university Keio University is, what faculties there are, and what the school buildings and food at the cafeterias are like. It was held at Hiyoshi Campus, which is mostly where first- and second-year students study.
During the briefing sessions, staff members of the Admissions Center talked about general topics concerning the university, such as the spirit and philosophy behind the founding of the university, characteristics of each faculty and campus, and matters related to student life. On the campus tour that followed, student guides spent about an hour taking the visitors on a tour of the main sites on campus while sharing their own student life stories with the prospective students and their guardians.
About 800 people visited over the two days, and they fully enjoyed the atmosphere of Hiyoshi Campus.
