Fall 2015

On Saturday, November 14, Keio organized the Experience Japan Exhibition at the Royal Society, London (UK) with the British Council. This study and work in Japan fair, now in its fifth year, is widely recognized as the largest of its kind in London. This year, representatives from 18 Japanese universities and 5 other Japan-related organizations based in the UK ran booths at the exhibition and welcomed more than 520 visitors from all over the UK and Europe.

Throughout the day, the booth area was full of visitors eager for information on studying and working in Japan. Moreover, visitors also listened intently to the seminar program which included presentations by speakers on their experiences as exchange students in Japan, and two talks by experts on aspects of Japanese culture titled “TV Dramas and Tourism: Japanese Historical Sites as Sustainable Tourist Resources” and “The Shinkansen: Cultural Icon of Japan.”
