Team GB Trampoline Team Holds Training Camp at Hiyoshi Campus
December 5, 2019
The Team GB Trampoline Team held a 4-day training camp at the Mamushidani Gymnasium on Hiyoshi Campus from November 20-23.
With only 8 months before the start of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, the Team GB Trampoline team is ramping up its preparations. This is the second time the team has trained at Hiyoshi Campus this year, with them also training here in July. In anticipation of the arrival of Team GB, members of the Keio Athletic Association Gymnastics Team replaced the trampoline beds, allowing for the practice of high-level maneuvers.
Following the training camp from November 28 to December 1, the Team GB Trampoline Team participated in the 2019 Trampoline Gymnastics World Championships held in the Ariake Gymnastics Center in Tokyo, with the women’s team earning 2nd place in the team event. Congratulations, and we look forward to hosting you in July next year!
