Keio Shonan Fujisawa Junior and Senior High School—The English Books Section—
At Keio Shonan Fujisawa Junior and Senior High School, approximately 25% of the student body are returnees. In addition, with short- and long-term study abroad programs and stays by short-term international exchange students, active cross-cultural exchange takes place on campus, providing many opportunities to hear English on a daily basis.
To meet the needs of students in such an environment, we actively acquire books selected by native-speaking teachers, the latest foreign novels not yet translated in Japan, and graded readers for extensive reading in English. The English books section is always stocked with approximately 5,000 books. This collection includes books in English requested by students and is used by many students, regardless of their English proficiency level.
