A medicinal cuisine menu, the "Spring Mibyo Yakuzen Lunch," developed by students from the Kenji Watanabe Seminar at the Faculty of Environment and Information Studies, will be served for a limited time at the Kanagawa Prefectural Government Building cafeteria, "Cafeteria Seagull."

The Kenji Watanabe Seminar undertakes various initiatives based on the Kampo medicine concepts of *ishoku dogen* (medicine and food are from the same source) and *yakushoku dogen* (medicinal herbs and food are from the same source). It also incorporates the idea of *ishoku-no dogen* (medicine, food, and agriculture are from the same source), reflecting the shift from using wild-harvested to cultivated plants for crude drugs, the raw materials of Kampo medicine.

・ Hijiki sprout and pearl barley rice, Aromatic stir-fry of spring vegetables and chicken thigh, Miso soup with sakura shrimp and onion

Part 2 – Recommended for those feeling stressed due to environmental changes, etc. –

・ Vinegared rice with bamboo shoots, clams, and ginger, Slow-cooked daikon radish and pork belly, Clear soup with cod
