Shinzo Koizumi Prize All Japan High School Student Essay Contest Now Accepting Applications

Since 1976, the 10th anniversary of the passing of Dr. Shinzo Koizumi, Keio University has held the "Shinzo Koizumi Prize All Japan High School Student Essay Contest." The purpose of this contest is to pass on the personality and achievements of Dr. Koizumi—a former President of Keio University and a renowned economist and writer—to future generations, and to contribute to the improvement of young people's writing and expressive skills.

This contest invites students currently enrolled in high schools across Japan to submit an essay of 6,000 to 8,000 characters. The essay should present a clear and well-supported argument, rather than just a personal opinion.

5. Academics × AI × Yukichi Fukuzawa

The application form is scheduled to open around mid-June. We encourage you to actively participate in this historic initiative, now in its 48th year.
