Overview
The Arts Management Program within the Department of Aesthetics and Science of Arts helps students acquire the knowledge of the fields required for the management of art organizations, focusing on leadership skills and professional development. University graduates with at least three years of relevant professional experience are eligible to apply for the program.
Courses consist of non-profit studies, organizational theory and behavior, marketing, fundraising, cultural policy, arts-related laws, case methods, and more. In addition to full-time and adjunct faculty members, students also study with lecturers working as practitioners.
Currently the program is only offered at the master’s level, and all lectures are concentrated on weekday evenings and on Saturdays for students who also work full time. Students must submit a master's thesis to complete the program. Students are also welcome to attend lectures in the Aesthetics and Science of Art Program to supplement their studies.
*Effective from the 2026 academic year, the degree title for the Art Management field will change from "Aesthetics" to "Art Management."
