I belong to the Kazuhiko Ozawa Laboratory and am conducting research on the theme of organizational change. I decided to go to graduate school because I developed a strong interest in organizational absurdity and companies that cannot adapt to environmental changes during my undergraduate research seminars. Currently, I am working hard on my research under the careful guidance of Professor Ozawa, utilizing theories of organizational behavior and management strategy to clarify the factors behind the failure of organizational change and explore paths to success.
In graduate school life, a major attraction is the environment where the distance to the professors is close, allowing for direct guidance and advice. Professor Ozawa not only provides research guidance while staying close to me at all times, but also respects my autonomy and responds carefully to individual challenges. Furthermore, the Graduate School of Business and Commerce is a place where professors from diverse fields gather. Another appeal is the ability to cultivate a broad perspective by taking lectures in other fields and participating in networking opportunities.
What I want to tell everyone considering graduate school is that the Graduate School of Business and Commerce is well worth the challenge. I myself have been able to deepen my learning while being helped by various support systems, including scholarship programs. If you have any interest in the field of commerce, please take a step forward to pursue your own field and expand your knowledge.
