Entrance Examination Information for the Doctoral Program of the Graduate School of Business and Commerce

The Graduate School of Business and Commerce trains researchers and working professionals who tackle the various problems facing modern industrial society from both theoretical and empirical perspectives.

The doctoral program of the Graduate School of Business and Commerce conducts a general entrance examination once every year. In addition, information sessions are held four times a year prior to the entrance examinations.

The general entrance examination consists of a first screening (review of application documents) and a second screening (interview).

General Entrance Examination — Doctoral Program

Students are selected based on a review of their application documents and an interview to determine whether they have the academic ability equivalent to a master’s degree or a professional degree from a graduate school in Japan or abroad, as well as the necessary aptitude to study at the Graduate School of Business and Commerce.
