The 47th Society of Business and Commerce Award: "Mita Business Review Student Paper Collection"
1. Purpose
The purpose of this prize-winning paper system is to encourage the challenge of intellectual activities as stated in the "Basic Philosophy of the Faculty of Business and Commerce": "to grasp modern industrial society through the theory and empirical evidence of business and commerce with a broad perspective and creative thinking, and to gain insight into its direction." We widely solicit research papers from students and honor particularly outstanding papers that have passed a rigorous screening process.
2. Eligibility
Students of the Faculty of Business and Commerce or students from other faculties belonging to a Faculty of Business and Commerce seminar (joint papers of up to 3 people are also permitted).
3. Theme
The theme is free as long as it is a research paper.
4. Word Count
Within 20,000 characters (title and abstract are not included in the count).

5. Application Deadline
Friday, October 31, 2025
※Submit the application form found on the Society of Business and Commerce website by email.
※The deadline for paper submission is Tuesday, November 4, 15:00.
6. Prize Money
50,000 yen per published paper.

< How to Apply >
1. Fill out all required information in the "Student Paper Collection Application Form" and send it to the Society of Business and Commerce Office by email by Friday, October 31. Deadlines must be strictly observed.
2. An application acceptance email will be sent from the secretariat. (※The acceptance email will be sent by Saturday, November 1.)
Since having received this application acceptance email is a prerequisite for paper submission, please contact the secretariat if you have not received it.
3. By 15:00 on Tuesday, November 4, bring two copies of the application paper to the Society of Business and Commerce Office (Graduate School Building, 4th Floor, 439A). Also, submit the PDF file of the paper by email. Punctuality is required.
