Keio signed a collaboration agreement with Tosu City in Saga Prefecture in order to realize a decarbonized society. There, they held seminars for local governments and companies to raise awareness of the need to reduce CO2 emissions, as well as other events. There have been a number of projects underway after the agreement was signed; these include a demonstration of AI-powered air conditioning control in ZEB-ready facilities, a feasibility study for using solar panels and rechargeable batteries, and collaboration to evaluate groundbreaking technologies. These projects are aimed at connecting local issues with technological solutions in order to build an advanced and unique regional model in Tosu City.
