The "Yagami Prize" Award Ceremony and Lecture Series were held by the Alumni Association Research and Education Promotion Fund

The Faculty of Science and Technology established the "Alumni Association Research and Education Promotion Fund" and holds an annual award ceremony to encourage graduates who have made significant social contributions through outstanding social activities or research and educational activities based on science and technology.

This year, marking the 24th time, the "Yagami Prize Commemorative Lecture Series" was held on Saturday, October 25, 2025, featuring the Yagami Prize award ceremony and lectures. Along with the awards and lectures for the 2025 "Yagami Prize" winners, awards and company introductions were also held for the 2025 "Yagami Prize (Entrepreneurship Support)" winners, aimed at supporting startups and entrepreneurship. The award ceremony and lectures were held in a HyFlex format using Zoom webinars.

We look forward to the continued success of the award winners.

"Contributions to the research, development, commercialization, and social implementation of sound source separation technology." 2025 Yagami Prize Winner
Ms. Yuki Awada ('01, Master's Program in Biomedical Engineering, Graduate School of Science and Technology, Keio University) Representative Director, NPO for your SMILE "Established an NPO to open an after-school day service (after-school support facility for children with disabilities) that parents would want their own children to attend." 2025 Yagami Prize (Entrepreneurship Support) Winner

Mr. Yudai Matsumori ('25, Department of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Science and Technology, Keio University) Enrolled in Master's Program, School of Science for Open and Environmental Systems, Graduate School of Science and Technology, Keio University. "Developed the tactile evaluation guide app 'TEXTUREVAL' as a system for anyone to systematically evaluate tactile sensations, and aims to build a system to provide it as a product by starting their own business for social implementation." 2025 Yagami Prize (Entrepreneurship Support) Winner
