Amano Laboratory - Processors for Low-Power, High-Speed Processing

The Amano Laboratory at Keio University's Department of Information and Computer Science is conducting research to create computers that deliver higher performance with lower power consumption. This development utilizes a technology called dynamic reconfigurability. This allows the hardware structure to change according to the problem being solved, adapting moment by moment to the optimal configuration to enable faster computation. Using this technology, the Amano Laboratory has successfully developed the "Makura 3," a processor capable of large-scale computation with low power consumption.
