Pre-KEIO TECHNO-MALL 2021 Seminar Series (First Session): "Keio's Strategy for Beyond 5G" (Digital Day Commemorative Event)

Seminar Overview: Commercial 5G services have been launched in Japan, and key services for a smart society, such as IoT and autonomous driving, are about to begin. At the same time, this also signals the start of the research competition for Beyond 5G—in other words, 6G. The Keio University Faculty of Science and Technology is looking toward this Beyond 5G, strategically focusing its research on key technologies and initiating open innovation. Specifically, the faculty is exploring the establishment of a research center that will vertically integrate everything from devices to systems, networks, and applications, while also collaborating horizontally with international partners and companies.
