Takumi Karasawa, a first-year master's student in the Graduate School of Media and Governance and a member of the Nakazawa & Ogoshi Laboratory, received the Best Poster Runner-up Award at IoT2023 (The 13th International Conference on the Internet of Things).
The international conference IoT2023 (The 13th International Conference on the Internet of Things) is a world-class international conference for advanced research in the Internet of Things (IoT) and its closely related fields, steering innovation in various IoT-related areas such as smart industry, smart cities, smart health, and smart environments. This year, the 13th edition of the conference was held at Nagoya University.
Mr. Karasawa's presentation on "estimating human emotions through eye-tracking technology in a wide-area smart city" was highly acclaimed, earning him the Best Poster Runner-up Award.

I am greatly honored to receive this award! I am very happy that the research I have been working on so diligently has been recognized in this way.
