The Mitou IT Talent Discovery and Development Project has been organized and implemented since fiscal year 2000 by the Information-technology Promotion Agency, Japan (IPA), an agency under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI). Its purpose is to "discover and nurture outstanding IT talent" by finding and developing Japan's genius creators who can change the world using IT. In this project, the following SFC students were certified as FY2022 Super Creators and selected for the FY2023 project.

FY2022 Mitou IT Talent Discovery and Development Project Super Creator Certification

From among the creators selected for the Mitou IT Talent Discovery and Development Project, individuals recognized as having particularly outstanding abilities are certified as "Super Creators."

Project Title: Development of a Translation IME and an Input Method Abstraction Layer

Project Title: A Hardware Virtualization Layer to Consolidate Multiple ARM Machines into One

Selected for the FY2023 Mitou IT Talent Discovery and Development Project

The project aims to discover and nurture outstanding individuals (creators) who possess original ideas and technologies capable of creating innovation in software-related fields, as well as the ability to utilize them, under the guidance of project managers (hereinafter referred to as "PMs") with excellent skills and achievements.

To achieve this goal, project proposals are solicited from "young talents (under 25 years of age as of April 1, 2023) who are seeking to realize projects that are original and innovative, and have the potential to create future social impact and innovation."

Selected creators will improve their skills and technologies by carrying out the development projects they proposed, while receiving guidance and advice from their PMs.
