On Saturday, August 5, an Open Campus was held at the Faculty of Nursing and Medical Care Building on the Shonan Fujisawa Campus (SFC) for high school students and prospective students interested in the Faculty of Nursing and Medical Care.
This was the first in-person Open Campus held in four years, since 2019.
In the large lecture hall, a faculty information session and mock classes were held, in addition to student presentations on overseas activities and an introduction to overseas study programs.
The hands-on corner offered demonstrations of lifesaving and AED use and an opportunity to experience remote nursing devices, while the exhibition corner featured posters on overseas activities and introductions to the research activities of students and faculty.
At the student consultation corner and on campus tours, visitors actively asked questions and sought advice from current students, who were seen responding to them with care.
Despite the intense heat on the day of the event, the building was bustling with approximately 620 visitors.
