Comment from Wakaba Hara
This is Wakaba Hara. Thank you very much for your constant and generous support. We won the Asia Rugby Sevens Series 2021 Dubai Tournament held on November 19 and 20, and have secured our spot in the World Cup to be held in South Africa next year. In our first tournament since the Tokyo Olympics, winning against our rival China, to whom we lost in the Olympics, and reclaiming our title as Asian champions was a significant first step for the Sakura Sevens. For me personally, it was a tournament filled with various emotions, but I will use these feelings to become even stronger and will do my best to show you all a powerful performance on the field in South Africa next year.
I look forward to your continued support!
