Comment from Taisuke Okazaki
I am honored to have received the Excellent Presentation Award at the 21st SICE System Integration Division Annual Conference. I proposed a method using digital fabrication to design indentation tactile sensations based on design variables. I am very pleased that my work was recognized by the Society of Instrument and Control Engineers. This research is expected to contribute to design support and promote the value of tactile sensation in daily life. I believe this was made possible by the guidance of my academic advisors, Professor Masashi Nakatani and Professor Hiroya Tanaka. I would also like to express my gratitude to the members who shared the ups and downs of this joint research. I will continue to devote myself to my studies so that I can return the results of my research to society.
