The Yamagishi Student Project Support Program is funded by a donation from Mr. Kotaro Yamagishi, President and CEO of Keio Innovation Initiative, Inc. and Director of GREE, Inc. This program subsidizes research projects by undergraduate students of the Faculty of Policy Management, the Faculty of Environment and Information Studies, and the Faculty of Nursing and Medical Care. It focuses on supporting research activities characteristic of SFC that aim to have a significant impact on the world.

On January 31, a results presentation meeting for the recipients selected in the spring semester of the 2019 academic year was held at the Mita Campus, where 20 students presented their research findings.

The research, which spanned various specialized fields, was all of high social significance, and a lively Q&A session was held with the participation of Mr. Yamagishi and SFC faculty members.

At the end of the presentations, Mr. Yamagishi provided his overall commentary and offered words of encouragement, stating, "The level of research improves every year, and the presentations were wonderful. I hope you will continue your hard work, creating opportunities for yourselves beyond Japan."
