On Saturday, July 6, the 30th Tanabata Festival was held at SFC, attracting approximately 5,800 visitors. This year's concept was "Sanjuso" (Triple Creation). Marking the 30th anniversary of the festival, this concept embodies the executive committee's desire to create a new Tanabata Festival through the cooperation of three parties: students, the local community, and the university.

The campus was decorated with bamboo branches and colorful tanzaku (paper strips), and the sight of visitors in yukata (summer kimono) further enhanced the seasonal atmosphere.

Although the stage was moved indoors due to unfortunate rain, there were various performances such as concerts and cheerleading. In the plaza, events like a mikoshi (portable shrine) procession and Bon-odori dancing were held, enveloping the entire campus in the lively atmosphere of a summer festival. Many families were among the visitors, and numerous children cheered at the festival stalls, trying their hand at shooting galleries and ring toss. They also enjoyed the haunted house and stamp rally.

In the gymnasium, many visitors were seen, with children enjoying a giant cardboard maze and others experiencing the latest technologies such as VR and drones.

After sunset, the feared rain held off, and the customary fireworks were launched, vibrantly coloring the Tanabata night sky.
