An Open Campus for high school students and prospective applicants interested in the Faculty of Policy Management, Faculty of Environment and Information Studies, and Faculty of Nursing and Medical Care at Shonan Fujisawa Campus (SFC) was held at SFC on Saturday, June 15.

When the doors opened, the deans of both the Faculty of Policy Management and the Faculty of Environment and Information Studies welcomed visitors at the entrance.

Various events were held to give visitors a taste of the SFC experience, including faculty information sessions, mock lectures, student-led presentations and research group exhibitions, GIGA Program classes conducted in English, and language communication courses. The student-led events, where visitors could speak directly with SFC students, were particularly popular. It was impressive to see high school students listening intently to the students' stories and explanations and asking questions.

Please note that some of the mock lectures from this Open Campus will be made available on the Experience SFC Online page. Please feel free to watch them.

This year, the Keio University Cheerleading Team gave a "'Katsuzo, Keio!' (Let's win, Keio!)" performance in the courtyard. Despite the unfortunate rainy weather, it was a great success.

At the Faculty of Nursing and Medical Care, in addition to faculty information sessions, mock lectures, and campus tours, there were presentations by students on their overseas activities and introductions to overseas study programs. The hands-on corner featured a life-saving AED demonstration, and the exhibition corner displayed various materials showcasing faculty research, campus life, and the 100-year history of nursing at Keio.
