The Shingo Yamaguchi Laboratory at the Keio University Faculty of Environment and Information Studies conducted a survey on the availability of conversational AI products and services (chatbots, smart speakers, and communication robots) for each of the 1,460 domestic industries defined by the Japan Standard Industrial Classification. The results confirmed that conversational AI is already available for use in approximately 20% of domestic industrial classifications.
