The Agri-Platform Consortium, operated by the Keio Research Institute at SFC at Keio University (headed by Jun Murai, Professor at the Faculty of Environment and Information Studies and Dean of the Graduate School of Media and Governance), has selected 15 winning schools for its website contest. Continuing from last year, the contest was held as part of an industry-academia collaboration in the agricultural IT field for agricultural high schools (including high schools with agricultural departments), agricultural colleges, and private agricultural educational institutions nationwide. A final screening was conducted for 57 schools (refer to the attached document) selected in the preliminary screening—48 agricultural high schools representing each prefecture (Hokkaido is divided into two blocks) plus 5 special entries, and 4 agricultural colleges and private agricultural educational institutions—to determine the 15 winners.
An awards ceremony will be held on Tuesday, March 26, at the North Hall on the Mita Campus of Keio University. Media coverage of this event is welcome.
