Final Presentations for the "9th Data Business Creation Contest" to be Held (3/16)

~Digital Innovators Grand Prix 9 (DIG9)~

Under the theme "To the Future We Will Create," proposals for predicting the future of Japan

and creating a better society

1. Purpose

This Data Business Creation Contest invites students from high schools to graduate schools across Japan to submit proposals under the theme "To the Future We Will Create." These proposals should utilize resources like e-Stat and the Standardized Statistical Data Set for Education to predict the future of Japan and suggest ways to create a better society. It is also hoped that the process of analysis and proposal creation by the contest participants will serve as a leading example for future education.

The Keio University Keio Research Institute at SFC, in collaboration with its business partner Nihon Bunkyo Shuppan, will manage the contest, including theme development, judging, and awards. Additionally, the National Statistics Center of Japan has provided the "Standardized Statistical Data Set for Education (SSDSE*)" for use in this contest.

This year, 62 teams applied to participate, with 38 of them entering the preliminary round. The eight teams that passed the preliminary judging will give their final presentations at the final presentation event.
