Traffic Restrictions for Cycle Challenge Cup 2019 (March 3)

On Sunday, March 3, the "Cycle Challenge Cup Fujisawa," a bicycle race hosted by Fujisawa City, will be held, and the Shonan Fujisawa Campus (SFC) will be used as part of the course.

Additionally, the parking lot in front of the gymnasium and the WEST block will be used for event staff parking.

Therefore, vehicle traffic will be restricted on the day of the event, and the loop road around and within the campus will be closed.

Traffic Restriction Hours:

8:30 a.m. – 12:15 p.m., Sunday, March 3, 2019

Please also note the following:

1.

The on-campus loop road will be closed during the enduro race (8:30 a.m. - 12:15 p.m.).

During this time, you will need to take a detour to park in the lot in front of the gymnasium. For details, please see here .

During the kids' bike race (12:40 p.m. - 1:20 p.m.), a section of the loop road in front of the Main Building will be closed.

Please note that vehicles parked in the lot in front of the gymnasium will not be able to exit the campus during the traffic restriction hours (8:30 a.m. - 12:15 p.m.) .

For vehicles parked in lots other than the one in front of the gymnasium before 8:30 a.m., exiting will be restricted as described in point 1, even outside of the traffic restriction hours.

Pedestrians will only be able to cross the loop road at designated locations. Please follow the instructions of the event staff.

Some areas of the faculty and staff parking lot in front of the Main Building will be unavailable on Saturday, March 2, and Sunday, March 3. Furthermore, some areas may remain unavailable for parking on Monday, March 4, if the removal of event equipment is not yet complete. We appreciate your understanding.
