The Takashi Iba Laboratory at the Keio University Faculty of Policy Management and Odakyu Electric Railway Co., Ltd. have created "A Style Language for Enjoying Japan," which articulates ways for international tourists to enjoy Japan.

"A Style Language for Enjoying Japan" is a compilation of approximately 200 styles extracted from interviews with foreign residents in Japan and others. The featured styles range from classic sightseeing methods to unexpected ideas for enjoying Japan. This style language can be used to assist international tourists with planning and creating tours, and it also offers hints for Japanese people to rediscover the charms of their own country. Furthermore, the words that summarize these styles can be used as a new vocabulary for discussing how to enjoy Japan and its regions, making it useful for workshops and other activities.

A dialogue and ideation workshop using "A Style Language for Enjoying Japan" will be held on Friday, February 15, at INBOUND LEAGUE in Shinjuku.
