On December 18, 2018, the Keio Research Institute at SFC, Keio University (Director: Hiroya Tanaka; managed by the Consortium for Co-Creation of Drone Collaborative Society [Co-representatives: Tomoyuki Furutani and Yasushi Kiyoki]; hereinafter Keio Research Institute at SFC) and Oyama Town, Shizuoka Prefecture (Mayor: Masahide Komiyama) will conclude a comprehensive collaborative partnership agreement regarding the promotion of research and educational activities utilizing drones, the promotion of disaster prevention and mitigation and forest and water conservation through their use, and regional revitalization. A signing ceremony for the agreement will be held at the Oyama Town Hall on the same day. The press is cordially invited to cover this event.
