At the request of the Task Force for the Promotion of Remote Education, established within the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) in line with government strategy, the Platform Design Lab at the Keio Research Institute at SFC, Keio University (headed by Jiro Kokuryo, Professor, Faculty of Policy Management; hereinafter "the Keio Research Institute at SFC"), has announced the "Operational Guidebook for High School Remote Classes Using Cloud-Based Learning Systems, Vol. 1.0" (hereinafter "this Guidebook").

Remote class systems based on this Guidebook will enable high schools nationwide to start offering remote classes at a low cost.

Going forward, the Keio Research Institute at SFC will promote awareness of this Guidebook, the adoption of remote class systems that comply with it, and its spin-offs (application to new fields) through industry-government-academia collaboration.
