On Saturday, July 7, the 29th Tanabata Festival was held at SFC and was attended by approximately 11,300 people. This year's concept was "Shunsai" (fleeting brilliance), which embodies the organizing committee's desire to richly and vividly color every fleeting moment of the visitors' smiles, excitement, exhilaration, and anticipation.

The campus was decorated with motifs of the Milky Way, Orihime, and Hikoboshi, and the sight of visitors in yukata further enhanced the seasonal atmosphere. Various performances, including concerts and dances, were held on stage, while portable shrines (omikoshi) and Bon odori dancing took place in the plaza, enveloping the entire campus in the lively atmosphere of a summer festival. The customary fireworks display was also held, vividly coloring the Tanabata night sky.

Many families were among the visitors, and many children cheered as they enjoyed fair games like target shooting and yo-yo fishing, while parents and children had fun making original candy together. In addition, members of the Mita-kai attended, and SFC alumni ran food stalls, leaving colorful memories in the hearts of local residents and alumni alike.
