—55 Policy Recommendations to Realize Disaster Prevention and Mitigation that Supports Victims by Utilizing the Internet, Media, and AI—

The Cyber Bosai Consortium, in which the Shingo Yamaguchi Laboratory from the Faculty of Environment and Information Studies at Keio University participates, has compiled and is now publishing a policy proposal paper titled "55 Policy Recommendations to Realize Disaster Prevention and Mitigation that Supports Victims by Utilizing the Internet, Media, and AI: Aiming for an Era Where a Cyber AI is Appointed as the Prime Minister's Information Officer." The consortium calls on national and local governments to take action based on these recommendations and, as consortium members, plans to take concrete steps toward building a resilient society.

The Cyber Bosai Consortium was jointly established on October 19, 2017, by the Shingo Yamaguchi Laboratory from the Faculty of Environment and Information Studies at Keio University; the Data-driven Intelligent System Research Center at the National Institute of Information and Communications Technology (NICT); the Integrated Research Institute for Disaster Information at the National Research Institute for Earth Science and Disaster Resilience (NIED); Yahoo Japan Corporation; and LINE Corporation. The consortium aims to promote disaster prevention and mitigation by actively utilizing the internet, media, and AI, which are integral to people's daily lives.
