Traffic Restrictions for Cycle Challenge Cup 2018 (March 4)

On Sunday, March 4, the "Cycle Challenge Cup Fujisawa" bicycle race, hosted by Fujisawa City, will be held, and the Shonan Fujisawa Campus (SFC) will be used as part of the course.

Additionally, the parking lot in front of the gymnasium and the WEST block will be used for event staff parking.

For this reason, traffic restrictions will be in effect on the day of the event, and the loop road around and within the campus will be closed to vehicles.

Traffic Restriction Period:

8:30 a.m. – 12:15 p.m., Sunday, March 4, 2018

Notice of Traffic Restrictions Due to the "Cycle Challenge Cup Fujisawa"

Please also note the following points.

1.

During the Enduro and Criterium races (8:30 a.m. – 1:40 p.m.), the loop road within the campus will be closed to traffic.

During this time, vehicles must use a detour to park in the lot in front of the gymnasium. For details, please refer to the Traffic Flow Diagram.pdf .

During the Kids Bike Race (1:40 p.m. – 2:20 p.m.), a section of the loop road in front of the Main Building will be closed.

Vehicles parked in the lot in front of the gymnasium will not be able to exit the campus during the traffic restriction period (8:30 a.m. – 12:15 p.m.) . Please take note.

For vehicles parked in areas other than the lot in front of the gymnasium before 8:30 a.m., there will also be restrictions on exiting even outside the traffic restriction hours, as described in point 1.

When crossing the loop road on foot, you will be limited to designated crossing points. Please follow the instructions of the staff.

Some areas of the faculty and staff parking lot in front of the Main Building will be unavailable for use on Saturday, March 3, and Sunday, March 4. Additionally, on Monday, March 5, some areas may still be unavailable for parking if the removal of event materials has not been completed. We appreciate your understanding.
