Online Application for Use of Shared Research Rooms for the 2018 Academic Year

If you wish to use a Shared Research Room in the 2018 academic year, please follow the application procedures outlined

below.

Details

1. The applicant representative must access the page below and fill out the "Application Form for Use of Shared Research

Room."

* Applications can only be submitted by the faculty member who is the applicant representative. Please log in with your CNS account.

You can also log in with your password for registering course guide data.

* Please submit an application whether it is for new use, continuing use, or continuing use with changes.

You may not be allocated a Shared Research Room if an application is not submitted.

* For new applications, or if the project name changes significantly, please also fill out the "Statement of Reasons for

Use of Shared Research Room." The same applies when changing the representative.

* If you will be vacating your Shared Research Room at the end of the 2017 academic year, please check the "Vacating" box on the "Application Form for Use of Shared Research Room"

and be sure to enter the scheduled date of vacating.

* As a general rule, the content of the application form and the statement of reasons will be published online (for on-campus access

only).

2. Use of a Shared Research Room requires the payment of a coordination fee, with the exception of specific uses determined by the Executive Board for policy

reasons.

Regarding the coordination fee, after consideration by the Research Room Management Committee, it has been decided that the fee will remain the same as in the 2017 academic year

to clarify the objective of using these funds to improve the educational and research environment at SFC in the future. We

ask for your understanding.

○ Coordination and Usage Fees

For Shared Research Rooms in the κειολτν Building, a fee is charged for the area exceeding 20 m² per full-time faculty

member (4,000 yen/tsubo per month).

For the used area of Shared Research Rooms in the Delta and Zeta Buildings, a fee is charged (6,000 yen/tsubo per month).

Deadline: 5:00 p.m. on Monday, December 25, 2017

* Applications must be submitted online only. Please refrain from submitting paper copies.
