The 26th Autumn Festival was held at SFC on Saturday, October 7, 2017.

The theme was "Genten-kaiki." The name is a play on words, combining "genten-kaiki" (return to the origin) with "kaiki" (bizarre or strange). Following the milestone 25th festival, this year's event was positioned as a "return to the origin" while also playing on the mysterious and "strange" atmosphere of Halloween on campus. The weather was beautiful on the day of the event, and approximately 5,500 people enjoyed an autumn day at SFC.

Stage events featured live performances by various bands, dance clubs, and idol copy dance units. For the first time, "bubble soccer" was held in the gymnasium, captivating everyone from children to adults with its humorous yet intense action.

In addition, an "Ikoku-dori" (Foreign Street) area featuring food stalls run by international students was set up, giving international students who had just enrolled in September an immediate opportunity to enjoy campus life. The campus was adorned with Halloween decorations, which were very popular among visiting families and children.

In the evening, the customary fireworks display was launched, providing a spectacular finale.
